Kessler Rehabilitation Center to Host Golf Event to Benefit Military Families

    Kessler Rehabilitation Center (www.kessler-pt.com) will host the 2012 Kessler & Friends Military Golf Benefit (www.golf4usa.org) on Monday, June 11th, at Spring Lake Golf Club in Spring Lake, NJ.  All proceeds from this event will go to fund programs for members of the Armed Services and their families.
    The tournament features “Operation Armed Foursome”, a sponsored day of golf that includes an active military member in every foursome.  “We encourage people to purchase a foursome, but to register only three players.  A Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Marine or Coast Guardsman will then be added to your group,” explained Emily Novellino, event chairperson and regional marketing director for Kessler Rehabilitation Center.  “This is a great way to express gratitude to the men and women of our military for their service to our country and spend time with them, learning about their dedication.” 
    Among the special guests scheduled to play are 1960 Heisman Trophy Winner and US Naval Academy graduate Joe Bellino and former US National Team goalkeeper and 2012 National Soccer Hall of Fame Inductee Tony Meola.
    The day-long event will feature a military color guard that will open the ceremonies prior to tee-off and a special dinner reception that is open to non-golfers.
