A Belmar man was charged with assault by auto and other charges in connection with a four-car accident in front of 546 Summit Drive in Point Borough, police said Tuesday.

Justin Robinson, 27, was also charged with: driving while his license was suspended (fourth degree crime); assault by auto (4th degree crime); reckless driving, revoked driving and unlicensed driving on April 17, said Point Borough Police Captain Richard Larsen.

Two people were injured in the April 11 accident, but information, such as their names and current conditions, were not available due to state and federal healthcare privacy laws.
