Boro varsity football beat Central Regional 20-14 at Central in Berkeley on Friday night.

Boro was beating Central Regional by 20-7 at halftime and, despite some post-half-time scoring, Central just couldn't catch up.

Boro was cheered on by the high school band, varsity cheerleaders and a large contingency of Boro residents and parents, including a large group from the Boro Black and Gold Football Parents Club.

The next game is Sept. 29 at Asbury Park.
