Boro Woman Allegedly Assaults Officers, Others

Woman was released from Ocean County jail

A Point Borough woman was charged with assaulting three people in her home and two police officers, Borough police said on Tuesday.

Natasha Larson, 23, was charged with three counts of simple assault in connection with allegedly assaulting a 14-year-old, a 21-year-old and a 50-year-old in the home, said Police Captain Richard Larsen.

Larson was also charged with two counts of aggravated assault in connection with allegedly kicking Officers Jeff Johnson and Brian Fennessy, Larsen said.

Police responded to a call from a Bridge Avenue resident at 9:34 p.m. reporting "that there was an out of control, intoxicated female in the house," Larsen said.

When Johnson, Fennessy and Officers Ryan Barker and Brad McNally responded to the home, they were confronted with Larson who was "out of control and verbally and physically combative," Larsen said.

Larson was taken into custody, transported to the Ocean County jail, in lieu of $20,000 bail, and released on Monday, officials said.

The 14-year-old had a complaint of head pain and was transported to Ocean Medical Center in Brick to be evaluated, Larsen said.

The 21-year-old had scratches on her face and the 50-year-old had scratches on her arms, he said.

Names and other details about the victims are not being released.
