Drug Arrests in Point Beach and Point Boro
Two separate incidents reported by Point Beach police
This past weekend the Point Pleasant Beach police department arrested two individuals for the possession of heroin during two separate and unrelated incidents.
A police press release states the following:
"At about 1 a.m. Sat., Officer Marc Distelcamp attempted to make a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle for speeding on Arnold Avenue. The operator of the vehicle, later identified as Stephanie Small, 23, of Lake Hopatcong, failed to stop.
Officers continued to pursue the vehicle through the side streets of both Point Pleasant Beach and Point Pleasant Borough for approximately ten minutes. The vehicle then entered the parking lot of the Red Carpet Inn on Bay Avenue in Point Pleasant Borough.
Small exited the vehicle and was taken into custody. Small was found to be in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Small was charged with eluding, possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of CDS.
Additionally she was charged with numerous motor vehicle offenses, including but not limited to, driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, speeding and reckless driving.
Bail was set at $50,000, no ten percent, and she was remanded to Ocean County Jail in default of bail. The Point Pleasant Borough and Bay Head police provided assistance.
At about 8 p.m. Sunday, a 20 year old female from Brick was arrested at one of the motels in Point Pleasant Beach and charged with possession of heroin, possession of CDS with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers arrived at the motel after learning the female had outstanding warrants from other jurisdictions. During the course of the arrest and subsequent investigations, officers recovered a significant quantity of heroin along with paraphernalia indicative of the sale and distribution of CDS.
The female was released after posting bail. Due to the fact that the incident remains under investigation, police are not releasing any further information at this time.
The media and public are reminded that criminal charges are merely accusations and these defendants are presumed innocent until and unless they are proven guilty.
Residents are reminded that they can call the Police Department Tips Hotline, to report any suspicious activity, at 732-892-0500 ext. 199. Residents are also reminded that they may remain anonymous."

The town lives in a "Bubble"...definitely naive on everything that is going on in the town. Beginning in the town...ending in their schools. They need to get it together because to many have caught on to all their fantasy world games.
