Lavallette Man Dies In Wall Township Crash

Police looking for witnesses

 

A Lavallette man was pronounced dead after an early morning crash on Route 34 in Wall, police said Sunday.

Police were called to the scene of a single-car crash on Route 34 in the area of the Shore Hills Motel around 6:44 a.m., Wall Sgt. Chad Clark said.

The 80-year-old driver was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, by Wall EMS and MONOC paramedics where he was pronounced dead.

The identity of the driver was not released early Sunday.

The collision is under investigation and any witnesses are encouraged to call Clark or Patrolman Gary Fuller: (732) 449-4500.

When will it be reguired to have persons over 70 to have a road test takin again.I'ts a bad problem in Manalapan with drivers that are barilly able to walk and then get behind the wheel of a car
