So she goes for a walk at 3AM in the pitch black looking for shells after her husband comes home from a bar? Sounds odd.

I would check on the cast of the "Jersey Shore" before I wasted too many valuable resources.

Hope she is ok. It is a shame that we all can't go out any time of day or night that we want to, but you really have to be careful....especially women. I wonder if she got a description of the person at least.

@ jan, while I do agree with what you said she lacked some common sense here. A 3 PM walk to look for shells? seems weird. I do hope she is OK.

I don't really think its fair to blame the woman or make fun of the situation. Sure, anyone with a clear and sober head would know that a 3am stroll alone on ANY beach would be a bad idea, but still nobody deserves to be attacked by someone. And if the story is accurate, then there is someone out there who attacks women....and may do it again.
