Do you have a little one heading for kindergarten in Point Borough in September?

It's time to register.

Registration is 9 a.m. to noon through Friday at the main offices at Nellie F. Bennett Elementary School and Ocean Road Elementary School.

All Point Pleasant Borough parents of children who have reached five years of age on or before October 1, 2013, may pick up their 2013-2014 kindergarten registration packets during the designated kindergarten registration hours. 

Parents must bring the following documents to the school at the time of registration in order to receive a registration packet:

• Original copy or copy with raised seal of the child’s birth certificate
• Current deed or lease indicating their Point Pleasant Borough address
• Current utility bill or bank statement showing their Point Pleasant Borough address
• Child’s immunization record to date

While the local public school district prefers that parents of incoming kindergarten students register by March 1, they are also required to accept incoming students after that.
