The 'Pt Pleasant' Rotary Club was chartered in 1925 serving the greater Pt Pleasant area. Rotary, today an organization with clubs all over the world, first started in a law office in Chicago in 1909. In 1977, the club sponsored the new 'Pt Pleasant Boro' Rotary Club with some members who lived in the Boro. To this day, short of changing our charter, we get confused with th Boro club in our announcements. Just to clear the air, tonight's event is to benefit the Pt Pleasant (Bch) Rotary Club. Admission is free, and the entertainment alone will be worth the visit! Hope to see you...

Thanks Eddie D for clearing up the difference between The Pt. Pleasant Rotary Club ( in the Beach) and the Pt Pleasant Boro Rotary club (In the Boro) which meets every Wednesday night 6:15 pm AT Forte's restaurant on Bridge Ave. You know, the club that has Go for the Gold Raffle and one of the largest Car show on the East Coast at the Cystal Point in August every year. You guys & Gals always were there for us, I hope you have a great turnout, and will be there for you!
Thanks, Rog the Rotrian
