"Point Paws Cat Walk" to Debut at Point Boro's Earth Day

"Cat Walk" is s fundraiser for the local animal welfare committee

"Cat Walk," a fundraiser for Point Paws, will be one of many fun activities at Point Borough's Earth Day at Riverfront Park on April 21.

Walkers will need to fill out an application, donate $10 to enter and will receive a Point Paws T-shirt.

Walkers may request pledges from friends and family to help raise more money for Point Paws' "Trap, Neuter and Release" program to help control the local feral cat population.

"Be creative, dress up, bring your pet to walk with you, we will walk in a parade at 2 p.m. around the park to earn our pledges," says a flier promoting the event.

Prizes will be awarded for the most creative and the most pledges.

Checks can be made out to Point Paws, 3105 Bridge Ave., Point Pleasant, NJ 08742.
