Point Paws Has Cat Adoption and Cat Food Drive on Dec. 18

Event at rescue center on Albert E. Clifton Avenue

Point Paws, the Animal Welfare Committee of Point Pleasant, will be hosting an open adoption event and cat food drive at its rescue center from noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 18.

The rescue center is located across from the borough Department of Public Works Facility at 733 Albert E. Clifton Ave.

Area residents are encouraged to visit the rescue center to browse available kittens and cats for adoption.

The nonprofit organization will also be collecting cat food to ensure a plentiful supply for the winter ahead.

Donations of wet and dry food for kittens and cats, as well as clumping and clay litter, are needed.

Those who cannot attend are encouraged to purchase items and have them sent to the rescue center through the organization’s Amazon Wish List.

To see kittens and cats available for adoption, visit www.PetFinder.com, or visit the Point Paws Facebook page. Also, the cats pictured are among those available.
