where are all the pictures of the girls softball teams??? I only see baseball teams here. We were there too!

The photo with children sitting and waving flags, with adults on either side of them and behind them, has little girls wearing navy and red T-shirts sitting in front row on the ground. Also, there are girls in two different "rows," if you will, marching behind Point Pleasant Councilman Bob Sabosik and a drummer in another photo. A photo gallery of a huge group event like this is always going to be sample of the total contingency. I'm sure we'll be out photographing teams again, so please email me directly at denise.distephan@patch.com to let me know about when we can take pictures of different girls' teams. I took photos on the field and have several of the girls' teams marching in to the ceremony. Look for them soon on here :)
All in all - it was a great day to start off the season. Thanks to all of the players, managers, coaches, and families who participated and showed their support today! A big thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make this a great experience for the kids! Now we just need the warm weather!
