Registration is being held on Sunday for Golden Elks Pop Warner football, cheer and the Challenger program.

Registration is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Point Pleasant Elks Lodge, Arnold Avenue, Point Beach.

There is a $60 fee for ages 5 and 6 for traditional flag football and flag cheer. (Registrants must be 5 years old by July 31, 2012.)

The Mighty Mites up to Midgets Football or Cheer is for ages 7 to 15. The fee for the first child is $150, $125 for the second, $100 for the third and the fourth is free.

Pop Warner is also offering the following new programs:

- Tiny-Mite Tackle Football for ages 5-7  

- Unlimited weight tackle football for ages 11 and up

- Challenger Program - non-contact football or cheer

For  Ages  5 – 15. Registration is free and the program is not gender specific.

Coaches are needed for football and cheer.

What you will need for registration: A recent photo (passport size); original and copy of birth certificate; insurance information and the child signing up.
