All I know is I live right next to that property, and I have two young daughters who I try to teach good morals. If the filming is all done indoors - fine. If I so much as hear one curse word, see one brawl, or have a single crazed fan show up anywhere near my property trying to get a closer look, I will call the mayor every day until he gets those people out of there.

They are about two minutes down the road from me. The mayor needs to get them the hell out. They've already been banned from filming in certain towns already like Point Beach due to the bad press they bring along with them. Sad to say this but Manchester PD might as well just park a cop outside the house 24/7.

Even with so much "writing on the wall", and so much awareness and knowledge of the lack of morality on that show with everyone knowing what to expect, our town allows this? It's funny how many people miss the plus side to have the cast of TV show in town. Revenues for local businesses! Nothing horrible has happened at any of the shoots and it brought business to local businesses. Rivoli's was in a story about the cast eating there a lot. Good for Rivoli's. I'd like to see the two new restaurants that opened in Lakehurst pick up some of that business. There are some great places to eat in Manchester. Charlies and Linda's on Rt 37. Gregory's for Seafood. LaGondola is amazing. Manchester was rated as one of the cheapest places to buy a home in the USA. I'll take the press for Manchester. All the show would show is how nice Manchester is. (Once they fix Pine Lake so my kids can swim in it).

If one had a choice, and they do, to support local businesses with immoral activities or moral activities fit for all segments of the population . . . young and old alike, families, children, etc, which choice would be better for the township? There are always options.

Eating isn't immoral. Drinking isn't immoral. Dancing isn't immoral. All are very legal activities in our state. But the chances of them coming to Manchester are pretty slim. Why be 15 miles from the Ocean for a shore spin off?

As for activites for the family. How many locals went to Lakehurst Night Out or the concerts at Harry Wright Lake? Talk about fun for everyone.

Tomorrow you have the Roustabouts at the Ocean County Library also. They are fun 50's/60's band with a sound the kids can dance to.

Where would you be willing to draw the moral line at, if at all? Would you be OK if a show came to town involved with group orgies, drugs, nambla? Talk about low self esteem. I love Manchester. I moved here 18 years ago from Kendall Park. I bought my first home here. I'm raising my family here. The school system and natural resources are amazing. I couldn't ask for better neighbors. I created my businesses around this area. I see no benefit to moving somewhere else in state. I'm an easy commute into Manhattan, a quick drive to the shore. Parks everywhere. I like my view of Manchester.
