Denise: How about letting people vote for the recreational facility best destroyed by too much money. I nominate Pt Beach Little League complex. It now looks like a state prison recreation area.

Riverfront Park is beautiful and a great place for the kids and dogs to play. However, the park is a favorite for drug dealer(s) too. You can almost set your watch to the daily "deals" down there. It is obvious and must be stopped.

Is this why CERTAIN people fought against having a soccer fields there? To give more privacy for the "deals".

BoroMom: I would urge you to let Borough police, 732-892-0060, know the time of day you can "set your watch to" so they can look into this. They really do want to hear from residents.

I also have told the policemen who partol the park occasionally, in uniform, driving a black and white of the offenders and could give them license #s and have been told several times to make an appointment with the chief. Want to see for yourseves, stop by the Bennett restored house any day at 5PM or look under the boardwalk, These hoodies do not set any example for other good kids in the park.
