Election, Candidate Meet and Greet, and SEPAC Meets in Point Today

It is going to be a busy day today in the Point area, especially with a special election going on.

Tonight, the Democratic candidates for Point Beach Council, Tom Davis and Dave Cavagnaro, are holding a meet and greet on from 7 to 9 p.m. at Josh's Coastal Chaos on Arnold Avenue.  All are welcome.

Also, tonight Point Pleasant SEPAC will hold their first meeting this school year on at 7 p.m.  The meeting will be held in the Ocean Road Elementary School music room (right beside the cafeteria).  The high school "Student Ambassadors" will be providing babysitting in the cafeteria, so please bring along your children!

The agenda for this meeting includes an introduction to the executive committee and features several guest speakers.

Rita Miller, Head of Special Services of the Point Pleasant School District, Donna Milanowycz, from the Statewide Parent Advocacy Network, ("What Can A Parent Group Do For You?"), and a representative from the Sibling Support Project, an organization dedicated to helping your typically developing child.

Everyone is welcome at this meeting - parents, teachers, grandparents and friends.  Refreshments will also be served, and we want the evening to be enjoyable and worth your time.  The meeting should be over around 8 p.m.
