Frozen Yogurt Fundraiser, Movie Night on Friday

And fishing tournament coming up on Saturday

A frozen yogurt fundraiser, movie night, vaccinations and a fishing tournament are all coming up in the area Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, residents can enjoy a frozen yogurt treat and help the Point Borough High School band at the same time. The fundraiser is being held all day and evening at Freezing Point, 3100 Bridge Ave., Point Borough. The Ocean County Health Department is continuing to provide free tetanus vaccinations and Sandy-related information this weekend at Trader’s Cove on Mantoloking Road in Brick. 

The OCHD outreach vehicle will be at the park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Traders Cove is an 11-acre property located on the northern side of Mantoloking Road just west of the Mantoloking Bridge. It is adjacent to Ocean County’s Mantoloking Bridge Park and Fishing Pier.

On Saturday, the 11th Annual VFW 4715 Family Flukin' Frenzy will be held in Point Beach. The picnic is quite the feast and proceeds go towards scholarships. For more information, see the Facebook page or the attached flier.
