Center for Healthy Aging at Kimball Medical Center Presents “Take Control of Your Health”

Those living with a chronic disease often struggle to control symptoms. To help older adults and their caregivers manage the day-to-day issues associated with chronic disease, the Center for Healthy Aging at Kimball Medical Center, a Barnabas Health facility, will host “Take Control of Your Health” – a chronic disease self-management program developed by Stanford University – beginning Monday, October 21 from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

Over the course of six weeks, health coaches from the Center for Healthy Aging will teach participants about chronic illness, help them learn from one another about ways to cope with an illness, and identify ways they can live healthier by managing symptoms of chronic disease.
