● Insurance coverage disputes

The seminar will be held at 6:30 p.m. on July 9 at Ferrell’s, 401 Broadway, in Point Pleasant Beach. It is just the latest educational workshop offered by Ellis, Ged & Bodden, P.A., which has spent the past several months criss crossing New Jersey and New York to make sure homeowners and business people know their rights and how to protect them after Sandy’s devastation. After all, New Jersey isn’t just a great vacation spot for those at the firm; it’s home. Many of Ellis,Ged & Bodden’s partners, lawyers and support staff – including co-founding partner and CEO C.Glen Ged – grew up in the Garden State and spent some of their happiest childhood moments at the Shore. Several still own homes and businesses there, and they’re having to survey the damage, estimate their losses, hire contractors to fix the mess and file insurance claims like everyone else.

But Ellis, Ged & Bodden know more about disaster recovery than the average home and business owner. With nearly 20 years of experience in defending policyholder rights on many fronts, it employs a wide range of resources in helping clients recover underpaid or wrongfully denied or delayed insurance claims. Now Ellis, Ged & Bodden is doing that from two offices in New Jersey: at 1101 Richmond Ave., Suite 201, in Point Pleasant Beach, and at 97 Lackawanna Ave., Suite 301, in Totowa. There, the firm is helping residents with insurance claim litigation, coverage disputes, bad faith issues, business interruption claims and mortgage forbearance. Consultations are free, and clients bear no upfront costs.
