MANASQUAN SAVINGS BANK HOSTS COMMUNITY SHRED DAY AND FOOD DRIVE
Wall Township, N.J. (November 2013) - Manasquan Savings Bank is hosting another Shred Day and Food Drive, on Saturday, November 16th, 2013 in Point Pleasant. The event will begin at 9am at the Pont Pleasant branch, located at 2307 Rt. 88, next door to the QuickChek. The event is set to wrap up at 12pm, but is subject to end earlier if the truck is full.
The previous Shred Day & Food Drive was held October 19th at the Ramtown branch. That event was a huge success with 1.8 tons of secure documents shredded and recycled and 238 pounds of non-perishable foods collected for the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. As always, Manasquan Savings Bank made a matching monetary donation of $238 to the FoodBank.
Since the upcoming Shred Day and Food Drive is so close to Thanksgiving, Manasquan Savings Bank is encouraging the community to increase their support for the local residents that are affected by hunger. Please bring as many non-perishable items (no glass containers) to Shred Day as possible! The bank will match $1 per pound of food collected, so the more the community donates, the more the bank can donate.
