Terra Ferma

As I touch down this Friday evening onto terra ferma in Rome, Italy from Dublin Ireland, my heart races and my mind wonders  with a million thoughts of what I will experience in the coming weeks. Meeting up with family, tasting new foods, learning new Italian words, spotting new fashion trends, learning new recipes, exploring new sites and art, meeting up with friends both old and new.

Some people are considered “serial” shoppers, others serial entrepreneurs. Undoubtedly, my husband  Mike and I are confessed serial world travelers. It is a true gift to be able to experience the magic of world travel. I firmly believe it is magic to be able to see the sun rise on the other side of the world.  Each time I hear the landing gear emerge I can't help but get goose bumps at the thrill of the journey that is yet come.
