Band Boosters Hosts Clothing Drive

Drive to be held Oct. 22, Oct. 24, and Oct. 26.

The Point Pleasant Borough Band Boosters Association will be hosting their annual clothing drive fundraiser in coming weeks. 

The clothing and items collected are for Fashion Republic, a small company specializing in processing used clothing. All wearable clothing is shipped out for people in need to wear and use both here in the United Stats and overseas, it is not shredded or cut.  Fashion Republic also supports Ocean County Hunger Relief and the Marian Center, local New Jersey charities.

The Boosters are collecting wearable and used clothing; men's, women's, and children. Shoes, tied separately in plastic bags, handbags, belts, hats, scarves, linens, backpacks, briefcases, stuffed animals,games, and hard toys.  Hard toys should fit a 24" x 24"x21" box.  Bicycles will also be collected.

Drop off times are scheduled for Tuesday, October 22nd from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, October 24th from 5 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, October 26th between 8:00 am and 8:30 am at the Point Pleasant Borough High School.
 
Items to be donated should be dropped off at the side band room doors located on Panther Path.
