The Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled the Chowderfest that was scheduled for last weekend to Saturday, Oct. 26, from 12 to 6 p.m. A rain date is scheduled for Oct. 27, and if it rains Sunday, the event will be held by the railroad station.
The event was cancelled last week due to high winds.
The event will be on the Point Beach side of the Manasquan Inlet and will feature music, a beer garden, arts and crafts, and of course, 10 of the area's best chowders. In the event of high winds, the event will be held at the train station parking lot in Point Pleasant Beach on Arnold Avenue.
