Boro and Beach Events Coming Up

A meeting of special needs parents, gift auction, carnival, Family Fun Run and Easter egg hunt!

 

Here's just a few of the events coming up in the area.

A new group of Point Pleasant Borough parents of special needs students are meeting from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ocean Road School cafeteria. FRiEnDs is a parent-led organization working in cooperation with the Point Pleasant Borough School District.

This parent advisory group is designed to serve the special education community by providing a positive and collaborative forum for the exchange of information, ideas and suggestions. (For more information, please see first attached PDF.)

The Point Pleasant Beach Rotary Club is hosting its Annual Social Gift Auction from 6 to 10 p.m. Sat. at the Brick VFW, 373 Adamston Rd., Brick. For more information, please see the Patch Event listing.

Also, this Sat. is the G. Harold Antrim Elementary School PTO Spring Carnival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school gym, 401 Niblick St., Point Beach. The event is open to all children from Point Beach, Point Borough, Bay Head, Lavallette and other surrounding towns and the cafeteria will be open for lunch. The Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee's Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pleasure Park, 405 Forman Ave., across the street from St. Peter's Church in Point Beach. The Easter Bunny will be there!

On April 13, the Nellie F. Bennett Elementary School PTO is sponsoring a Two Mile Family Fun Run in Point Borough. (For more information, please see last two attachments.)
