UPDATE: 'Point Pleasant Police Department' On Jimmy Fallon

Baldwin recently donated money to Stafford to rebuild a community center there after Sandy.

A "lost" television show featuring Alec Baldwin and Jimmy Fallon as police officers from Point Pleasant was featured this week on the Jimmy Fallon Show.

The segment - which Baldwin and Fallon taped for the show - opens up with a "Miami Vice" style opening sequence, complete with palm trees (??!!) and a 1980s style squad car.

The segment focuses heavily on the very alliterative name of the town, and continues the alliteration - pumpkin pie, pickpockets, and pickled peppers - among others.

UPDATE: The attached photo shows what was represented as "Point Pleasant," which looks a bit like Miami Vice.

Although the segment seems to poke a bit of fun at the name of this shore town, Baldwin actually is a big supporter of the Jersey Shore, having recently donated “seed money” for rebuilding a community center in Stafford Township after the center had been damaged by Sandy.

Watch and enjoy. Also, tell us what you think of the segment in the comments below!
