Summerfest on Saturday in Community Park, Point Boro

Live music, food, children's activities and fun will be offered at the Summerfest at Community Park from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.

Summerfest has been held in the borough for the past 21 years.

However, this is the first year the borough's biggest event of the year will be moved off Bridge Avenue into Community Park on Bridge Avenue and Beaver Dam Road.
It's also the first year the event will feature sales of beer and wine.

Working with The Passion Group, the Point Pleasant Chamber of Commerce is running the event which features: crafters, artisans, musicians, food, children’s activities and entertainment, such as Irie Sound, Purple Empress, Rock N Roll Chorus, Elevator Art, Matt Wade Band and Undisputed.
The children's area will include inflatables, stilt walkers, face painters and a children's parade.
