Winners of the Belmar Pro Surfing Competition Announced

Tenth annual competition wrapped up Sunday.

Ben Bourgeois repeated his 2009 win at the Belmar Pro surfing competition Sunday with a backside performance in the final to top 2011 champ Vince Boulanger, officials said. 

The competition wrapped up Sunday, with Maddie Peterson, 15, getting her first professional win in the Womens Pro and newcomer Justin Quintal of Florida rode to the ASP Longboard title.

Matt Keenan continued his dominance with a quarterfinal finish in the Mens and his first victory in the Masters over Dean Randazzo. The Legends title went to famed surfboard shaper Robert Weiner. And Sam Orozco won the ASP Fins Pro Junior.
