Point Boro Graduate Performs Sat.

Kelsey Robertson, a mezzo-soprano, will give a recital at church in Point Beach

Mezzo-soprano Kelsey Robertson, a 2008 graduate of Point Pleasant Borough High School and a 2012 graduate of the Conservatory of Music at Oberlin College in Ohio, will perform her summer recital at the Point Pleasant Beach Presbyterian Church on 701 Forman Ave. at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Robertson and pianist Carolyn Moore will be performing classical and musical theater selections.

During her senior year at the borough high school, Robertson played the leading role of Maria in The Sound of Music and was awarded “Outstanding Leading Actress” by the Papermill Playhouse for her performance.

In the fall, she will attend Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y., where she will be pursuing her Master’s degree in vocal performance and literature.

Admission is free and the audience can meet and greet the artists at a reception following the performance.

Donations to Robertson’s graduate school fund are not required, but will be graciously accepted.

Too bad. I don't complain where it will do no good. I do complain when it can change things for theRead More better. Don't waste your time or be negative.
