Point Borough Resident Named First VP at Provident Bank

Mark Gueci now oversees lenders in four counties

Mark Gueci of Point Pleasant has been named first vice president of commercial lending at The Provident Bank.

In this position, he works in Provident's administrative office in Iselin and oversees a team of commercial lenders serving Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean and Mercer counties.

The team is responsible for the origination, analysis and underwriting of commercial loans in those areas, as well as building relationships with new and existing clients.

Gueci joined Provident five years ago after serving as vice president in the commercial lending division at Commerce Bank, where he was recognized as a top producing commercial lender. 

Prior to that, he held positions with The Bank of New York for 13 years.

Gueci formerly served as a board member of the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Central Jersey and the East Brunswick Education Foundation.
