Party to Raise Money for Lymphoma Patient

Fundraiser aims to raise money for Jackson resident diagnosed with cancer

The family of a man struggling with Hodgkin's Lymphona is asking the public to come party with them to raise money for medical expenses.

The Dig for a Cure fundraiser for Jackson resident Joe Wehner will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. at The Headliner, 1401 Route 35, Neptune, on March 24.

Wehner was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and is currently receiving chemotherapy treatments to battle the disease.

Joe is a self-employed excavator and father of two boys, ages 5 and 8.

The benefit will feature face painting and games for the kids, 50/50 raffles, a basket auction, food and music by DJ Charley Bucket.
