State officials will visit Point Beach, Bay Head, Mantoloking and other Sandy-hit towns this week and Point Beach and Point Borough councils both hold special meetings this Tuesday night.

State Will Visit Sandy Victims in Point Beach, Bay Head and Mantoloking

Point Beach, Bay Head and Mantoloking will be a few of the stops state officials make this week to continue explaining Sandy recovery programs to victims.

The Christie Administration will continue hosting a series of Sandy Recovery Mobile Cabinets next week in Ocean County to discuss the latest recovery programs and assist local homeowners and businesses in their recovery and rebuilding efforts. The Point Beach Council, sans Councilman Michael Corbally who just resigned suddenly last week, will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. at Borough Hall on New Jersey Avenue to discuss where to take the current parking plan now that a Superior Court judge has shot it down, and other issues. The meeting may include a closed session.

The Point Borough Council will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Borough Hall on Bridge Avenue. The meeting had originally been scheduled for June 18, but was postponed because that was the same night as the Point Borough High School graduation.

Registration for Point Boro Rec Summer Camp Openings: There are some full-day and half-day openings residents can register for this week, as availability lasts. For more information, please click on headline.
