The Point Pirates organization is a member of the Jersey Shore American Youth Football and Cheer League...one of over 40 towns! The main goals of the league are:
* To teach the children the fundamentals of the game of football and the value of being part of a team...prepare the players for their high school football careers.
* To teach the proper techniques needed to perform quality cheer chants/routines/stunts...how to support the players on the field by getting the fans involved...how to perform their routines in competitions while representing the Point Pleasant communities.
* To develop positive character traits that will carry them through their young lives into adulthood.
* To teach the children ways to give back to their communities.
* To do all of the above in a safe and fun environment.
