Court Appointed Special Advocates' 'Night of Comedy'

Stand–up comedians are performing for more than laughs at Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Ocean County’s Night of Comedy. The punch lines not only deliver smiles and applause, but they also raise funds for foster children, who are victims of abuse and neglect in Ocean County.

Join CASA of Ocean County at Uncle Vinnie’s Comedy Club in Point Pleasant Beach on March 15 from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $25, which includes two comedians and appetizers.

Tickets can be purchased at the door, or reserved through CASA of Ocean County by calling 732-797-0590. Uncle Vinnies’s Comedy Club is located at 518 Arnold Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach.

More than 711 children in Ocean County lived in dangerous situations of abuse and negligence. Once they are removed from their homes, they are too often bounced around among families, social workers, and lawyers. CASA provides a constant in their life:  an advocate.  The CASA volunteer works individually with a child, and speaks up for the child’s best interests in court.
