As we head into another sub zero climate I can't help but think of the homeless I've met here in Jersey.
Take the politics out of it. Take the biased media out of it. Take the prejudice out of it and think what it must be like to be facing this oncoming storm with only the shelter of a tent to protect you.
Too much snow and the tent will collapse, which means every hour or so getting and brushing snow away. No heaters in many of the tents mean frostbite, hypothermia, or worse.
Think for a moment of the people in Tent City.
They could all use our help. A little goes a long way. Warm blankets. Water. Firewood. Gloves. Hats. Fruit. Protein.
Many of us are but a few paychecks away. What can you do to help today?
