Pick-a-Park Walk & Clean Up Day

Pick-a-Park Walk & Clean Up Day Happening Saturday, April 28

Volunteers are needed for The Pick-a-Park Walk & Clean up Day, which will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

Pick-a-Park Walk and Clean-up Day is an opportunity for Point Pleasant Borough residents to combine their efforts to dispose of litter at Point Pleasant parks and other high-usage town areas.

The Climate Action Committee of Point Pleasant Borough (CAC), in support of the Mayor’s Wellness Program Initiative, the Environmental Commission, and the Borough of Point Pleasant’s Community Watch Program, are sponsoring the event.

The Point Pleasant Borough Community Watch will provide Clean-up Day volunteers with a light snack at 8:30 AM at Borough Hall.

Volunteers will then be assigned to designated areas in need of clean up. At each area, an on-site project leader will provide participants with trash bags (donated by Beaver Dam Hardware and The Department of Public Works via a Clean Communities Program Grant) and instructions for litter collection.
