Free Diabetes Health Discussion and Foot Screenings Available November 13 at Ocean Medical Center

Join experts from Ocean Medical Center for an open discussion about living with diabetes and how to best manage this chronic condition. A panel of physicians, a nutritionist and wound care nurse will talk about risk factors for developing diabetes, diagnosis, complications, treatment, nutrition, and exercise. They will also discuss how wound care is an important issue for diabetics.

The diabetes awareness event will take place on Wednesday, November 13, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Ocean Medical Center. Lunch is included in the program; registration is required by calling 1-800-DOCTORS.

Free foot screenings will also be offered prior to the start of the lecture. Appointments are required for foot screenings and can be made by calling the same registration number.
