This seems insensitive and borderline gossipy. Clearly all you've done is turn on a police scanner and transcribe what you heard. I'm not sure this sort of thing is really the business of anyone not directly involved, although I must say that I'm grateful that we have such a fantastic First Aid Squad.

Patch does not publish information directly from a police scanner. All information gathered by reporters is confirmed prior to publication.

Insensitive? Gossip? They MAY have gotten the intitial report from a police scanner but if you'll read the story again, it was confirmed by a police dispatcher. That, my friend, is not gossip. And as for it not being anyone else's business, who are you to say what is and what isn't? You're entitled to your opinion, but that doesn't mean you're right.

No reason to be rude. No one forced you to read it or comment on it.

There is no such thing as Point Pleasant Beach First Aid. It is the Point Pleasant First Aid & Emergency Squad. Yes, they are located in Point Pleasant Beach. Apparently, the confirmed information is not always correct. :p

The first aid squad that serves Point Pleasant Beach, Bay Head and Mantoloking is The Point Pleasant First Aid and Emergency Squad. Point Pleasant Borough is "Point Boro First Aid Squad."
