Drug, Disorderly and Hindering Arrest Charges Among Many in Point Beach

Point Beach police blotter for May 24-29

Point Beach police made the following arrests on charges of possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, hindering arrest, harassment, disorderly conduct and others from last Thursday through Tuesday.

On 5/29/12 at 4:22 PM – Rebecca Galarza, 19, of Holmdel, was arrested on Chicago Avenue by Officer Nicholas Morgan for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 5/28/12 at 10:57 PM – Robert D. Barrows, 21, of Brick, was arrested on Inlet Drive by Officer John Cain for hindering.

On 5/28/12 at 9:38 PM – Miguel G. Martinez, 23, of New Brunswick, was arrested on Ocean Avenue by Officer Michael Slininger for possession of marijuana under 50 grams.

On 5/28/12 at 9:16 PM – Jean Walkens, 25, of West Orange, was arrested on Arnold Avenue by Officer Nicholas Zubkow for hindering.

On 5/28/12 at 8:15 PM – Gilbert Gonzalez, 39, of North Brunswick, was arrested on Ocean Avenue by Officer Nicholas Barber for harassment.

On 5/28/12 at 8:18 PM – Jennifer Guridy, 26, of Perth Amboy, was arrested on Central Avenue by Officer Richard Killmer for possession of marijuana under 50 grams.

On 5/28/12 at 8:27 PM – Alisha Gomez, 22, of Perth Amboy, was arrested on Central Avenue by Officer Richard Killmer for hindering.

On 5/28/12 at 6:46 PM – Frankie R. Eliano, 25, of Staten Island, NY, was arrested on Central Avenue by Officer Michael Pereira for defiant trespassing.

On 5/28/12 at 6:46 PM – Crystal Maialo, 22, of Staten Island, NY, was arrested on Central Avenue by Lt. Joseph Michigan for disorderly conduct.

On 5/28/12 at 5:23 PM – Aaron Smith, 23, of Maplewood was arrested on the Boardwalk by Officer Erick Pardo for defiant trespassing

On 5/28/12 at 5:12 PM – Darrell Walden Jr., 26, of Brooklyn, NY,.. was arrested on Chicago Avenue by Officer Kyle Grace for criminal mischief.

On 5/28/12 at 12:17 PM – Adriana Gonzalez-Silva, 24, of Randolph, was arrested on Parkway by Officer Matthew Hill for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 5/28/12 at 8:29 AM – Gilmar Centeno, 34, of Irvington, was arrested on Arnold Avenue by Officer Frank Finn for disorderly conduct.

On 5/28/12 at 2:13 AM – Robert F. Hurd, 37, of Bayonne, was arrested on Parkway by Officer Chris Olesky for possession of marijuana under 50 grams.

On 5/27/12 at 8:22 PM – Michael Butler, 31, of Bergenfield, was arrested on Arnold Avenue by Officer Kyle Grace for simple assault and eluding.

On 5/27/12 at 11:05 PM – Danielle Hamburger, 28, of New York, NY, was arrested on the boardwalk by Officer Michael Guarino for simple assault.

On 5/27/12 at 10:21 PM – Anthony Niemczyk, 23, of Point Pleasant, was arrested on Central Avenue by Officer Michael Guarino for disorderly conduct.

On 5/27/12 at 9:01 PM – Angelo C. Crognale, 21, of South Amboy, was arrested on Boston Avenue by Officer Chris Olesky for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 5/27/12 at 2:33 AM – Wendell Coss, 27, of Bayonne, was arrested on Ocean Avenue by Officer Francesco Metta for hindering.

On 5/27/12 at 1:50 AM – Gerard V. Mongiardini, 24, of Methuchen, was arrested on the Boardwalk by Officer John Cain for defiant trespassing.

On 5/27/12 at 1:28 AM – Nicole Neglia, 25, of Staten Island, NY, was arrested on Ocean Avenue by Officer Michael Guarino for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 5/26/12 at 11:32 PM – Kyra R Kotz, 38, of Brick, was arrested on Broadway by Officer Francesco Metta for simple assault and hindering apprehension.

On 5/26/12 at 9:52 PM – Robert Reppert, 34, of Walden, NY, was arrested on Ocean Avenue by Officer Matthew Nickerson for disorderly conduct.

On 5/26/12 at 8:35 PM – Giselly Pereira, 28, of Boca Raton, FL, was arrested on Ocean Avenue by Officer Michael Guarino for theft.

On 5/26/12 at 8:02 PM – Jerome Truitt, 28, of Edison, was arrested on Arnold Avenue by Officer John Lightbody for criminal trespassing and obstructing.

On 5/26/12 at 4:29 PM – Michael N. Mele, 25, of Old Bridge, was arrested on Randall Avenue by Officer Brian Spader for harassment.

On 5/26/12 at 2:02 PM – Vincent Catizone, 27, of Randolph, was arrested on Arnold Avenue by Officer Nicholas Zukow for possession of marijuana under 50 grams.

On 5/26/12 3:18 AM – Lauren A. McMahon, 24, of Edison, was arrested on Inlet Drive by Officer Vincent Reinecke for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 5/26/12 at 2:25 AM – Anthony S. Casper, 21, of Brick, was arrested on Niblick Street by Officer Justin Nunno for disorderly conduct.

On 5/26/12 at 12:49 AM – Neil T. Assesnnato, 24, of Staten Island, NY, was arrested on Parkway by Officer Anthony Claps for criminal trespassing.

On 5/24/12 at 11:38 PM – Victoria A. Manning, 19 of Little Egg Harbor was arrested on Parkway by Officer Richard Killmer for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 5/24/12 at 11:38 PM – Breanna Matos, 20 of Jackson was arrested on Parkway by Officer Richard Killmer for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In addition to the above arrests, five juveniles were arrested for offenses including theft, shoplifting, underage possession of alcohol and possession of marijuana under 50 grams.

The Police Department arrested eight individuals for outstanding criminal and traffic warrants from other jurisdictions.

Between 5/25 and 5/29 the Police Department issued (179) boro ordinance violations for offenses such as drinking in public, urinating in public, loud noise and misbehaving.

The media and public are reminded that criminal charges are merely accusations and these defendants are presumed innocent until and unless they are proven guilty.
