Man Dead, Another Injured In Jet Ski Collision

Incident still under investigation

Two jet skis collided on Sunday evening north of the Route 37 bridge in Toms River, leaving one person dead and another injured, according to state police.

Adam Grossman, of the State Police Office of Public Information, told Patch the accident happened around 8 p.m. 

Two people were taken to Community Medical Center, with injuries, and one male victim was pronounced dead at the hospital, another left with minor injuries, Grossman said. He declined to identify the men last night. 

Grossman sad the cause of the collision, is under investigation.
