Point Beach Warns Residents To Stay Off Roads, Clear Vehicles

Point Pleasant Beach is telling residents what to do as nearly 14 inches of snow are forecast: don't shovel into the street, remove vehicles from curbs, stay off of roads.

Here is the complete post from Point Beach Office of Emergency Management:

1. All Residents are asked to please refrain from shoveling their sidewalks and driveways until after borough plows have plowed from curbline to curbline.

2. All residents are also asked to please park their vehicles in their driveways if possible so it is easier for borough plows to plow the roadways.

3. All residents are also asked to secure any loose property so it does not blow into the street.

4.All residents are also being asked to please assist and dig out any fire hydrant in the area of their homes.

5. Ask residents and visitors are asked to stay off roadway due to possible white out conditions from Snow and Wind. This will also assist with snow blow operations.
