Point Boro Police Make Arrest In Connection With Delicious Bagels Robbery

Point Pleasant Boro police have made an arrest in connection with a robbery of Delicious Bagels on Bridge Avenue.

Police confirmed that an arrest was made Friday of a suspected robber who stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the business in April.

No other information was immediately available.

On Thursday, April 10, at approximately 1 a.m., an unknown man attempted to forcibly gain entry into three businesses on Bridge Avenue in Point Pleasant.  The man ultimately entered Delicious Bagels at 2259 Bridge Avenue, and removed an undisclosed amount of start-up cash, police said.

A white male suspect was visible on surveillance and was observed to be wearing a blue, grey and red flannel jacket and blue, grey and red knit cap, police said.  The subject appeared to be wearing several layers of clothing, police said.
