Point Boro Woman Indicted on Drug Charge

Indictments handed up by the Ocean County grand jury

A Point Pleasant woman has been indicted on a count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance by an Ocean County grand jury.

Desiree S. DeMartino of Point Pleasant was indicted on one count of third-degree possession for allegedly having oxycodone without a prescription on Jan. 7 in Point Pleasant. Her arrest came in response to a 911 call, where Officer Chris Leonhardt found her in illegal possession of the drug.

She was released on a summons.
