Unaware of who was the employee and who was the possible robbery suspect, officers ordered both subjects to the ground.

Through the on-scene investigation, it was discovered that the gas attendant was held at gun point and ordered to hand over money by the other male subject.

Upon police arrival, the suspect had dropped the gun in the booth where it was recovered by police.

Upon physical inspection, the gun was determined not to be real, although it looked real. McShane was then arrested.

Bail was set at $100,000. McShane was transported to the Ocean County Jail in default of bail.
