Point Pleasant Boro Police Looking For Man Who Demanded Money From Bank Teller

The Point Pleasant Police Department is attempting to identify the owner/operator of a vehicle who allegedly passed a note Wednesday demanding money from a bank teller.

The operator of the vehicle allegedly passed the note at approximately 4:25 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank at 3223 Bridge Ave., police said.

The vehicle operator then left the scene without obtaining any money.

The vehicle is an older model Jeep Grand Cherokee, light gray, two-tone, with a spare tire on the front driver’s side, no front license plate, a large dent on the driver’s side door and a tow hitch on the rear of the vehicle, police said.
