Point Pleasant Man's Car Overturns on Route 34 in Wall

Timothy Sarro suffered minor injuries

A Point Pleasant man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after losing control of his car and overturning on Route 34 Saturday evening, police said.

Timothy Sarro, 32, was driving a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer southbound on the state highway around 7:15 p.m. when he lost control, struck the grass median and overturned in the area of the Allenwood Circle, Sgt. Kenneth Brown said.

Sarro's vehicle came to rest on the northbound shoulder of Route 34 and he was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, with non-life threatening injuries, Brown said.
 
The South Wall Fire Department and Wall Community First Aid also responded. The crash is being investigated by Patrolman Vincent Mazzaccaro, Brown said.
