Point Borough Woman Charged with Heroin Possession
Wall Township police arrest woman after motor vehicle stop
A Point Borough woman was charged with heroin possession and a contempt of court warrant in Wall, according to police.
Samara Katz, 41, was arrested at about 2:30 a.m. May 9 on a contempt of court warrant after a motor vehicle stop on Atlantic Avenue in Wall and then charged with heroin possession, police said.

Katz was subsequently transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of $15,000.00 bail. Patrolman Adam Cox was the arresting officer.
Also on May 9, at approximately 12:30 a.m., David DePasquale, 21, Toms River, was arrested for heroin possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Highway 35 in Wall. Also arrested for the same offenses was a 17 year old passenger in the vehicle. Both were charged and released with a pending court date. Patrolman Dan Santoro was the arresting officer.
