The boy had been walking from the east side to the west side of Albert E. Clifton to go to a bus stop to go to Ocean Road School, Williams said. He had been walking with his mother and siblings.

The boy had been conscious and alert as he was transported to Ocean Medical Center in Brick, police had said.

Since then, the hospital did a CAT scan, which was negative, and there are no broken bones, Williams said.
