UPDATE: Point Boro Man Arrested After Possessing 'Hypnotic' Drug At Idle Hour

A 39-year-old Point Boro man was found to possess a possibly "hypnotic" drug after walking out of the Idle Hour and heading to Route 88, police said.

Jack Ryan appeared to be under the influence at the establishment, and was found later to possess the prescription drug "flunitrazepam."

The drug is a hypnotic substance intended to be for short-term treatment of chronic or severe insomniacs.

Ryan was charged with drug possession, police said. The arrest took place on Jan. 28 at 6:20 p.m.
