FEMA Meeting Location Changed in Point Boro

Still at Nellie F. Bennett, but in gym

The FEMA meeting scheduled for Wednesday in the all-purpose room at Nellie F. Bennett Elementary School has been moved to the gymnasium to accommodate all interested attendees, says a notice from Borough Hall.

The meeting is still scheduled to take place between 6 and 9 p.m. at the school on Riviera Parkway in Point Pleasant Borough.

The slight change in location was provided by Borough Hall to Patch late Monday afternoon.

The meeting will be open to all residents, there will be an open forum and a question and answer period with FEMA representatives, according to Borough officials.

Briggert Waters only reauthorizes NFIP until 2017. One can only imagine what new hurdles will be set up at that time, if NFIP is still around.

I doubt it. People love to complain :) Myself included I suppose.

Too bad. I don't complain where it will do no good. I do complain when it can change things for theRead More better. Don't waste your time or be negative.
