The FEMA meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Wed. in Point Beach is now moved to
The original location had been in council chambers at Point Beach Borough Hall on New Jersey Avenue.
It's expected that FEMA officials will explain the new advisory flood maps and what they mean for residents trying to figure out if they should raise their flooded houses, by how much, what kind of flood insurance rates they will be paying and a myriad of other questions that are bogging down residents in red tape and confusion.
"They've assured me they will have accurate, concise answers," said Borough Business Administrator Christine Riehl at the last council meeting.
FEMA is hoping to have the Small Business Administration (SBA) at the meeting.
